We invite all who are interested to participate in our innovative approach to New Thought music, drama, and dance. The Creative Expression Ministry consists of choir and ensemble members, instrumentalists, dancers, actors, and other performers who are willing to share their gifts of artistic expression.

MEMBERSHIP MINISTRY

MINISTRY DESCRIPTION

The Membership Ministry is responsible for delivering the Universal Truth Center message to visitors and aspiring members by coordinating the bi-monthly new member orientations, new member receptions, spiritual baptisms, and the christening of babies and children. To join the church, candidates must be at least 12 years of age, express the desire to become a member, and attend an orientation class facilitated by a minister. Participants learn about the Universal Foundation for Better Living, the church structure, church programs, and the principles taught at the Universal Truth Center. The baptism of new members is part of the Sunday service following the Saturday orientation class. The Membership Ministry also assists the ministerial staff at the annual and quarterly membership meetings.

STEWARDSHIP MINISTRY

MINISTRY DESCRIPTION

The Stewardship Ministry works to empower people to become responsible beneficiaries of the universe’s rich abundance. Our primary aim is to teach participants how to put God first and thereby work the spiritual laws effectively to demonstrate prosperity in their lives, world, and affairs.

“The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (NRSV)

SERVICE MINISTRY

MINISTRY DESCRIPTION

The Service Ministry creates and maintains a warm and friendly environment for the members and friends of the Universal Truth Center. Volunteers are encouraged to find a need and fill it. We assist with every aspect of the daily operation of the Center, work to ensure a pleasant Sunday worship experience, and pull out all the stops for special activities and events. By placing people on teams according to their gifts, skills, and interests, we invite everyone who would like to contribute to this ministry to give of themselves as they are willing and most capable.

“Don’t just do what you have to do to get by, but work heartily, as Christ’s servants doing what God wants you to do. And work with a smile on your face, always keeping in mind that no matter who happens to be giving the orders, you’re really serving God.” Ephesians 6:6-7 (The Message)
