AIF 2023 PASTOR’S MESSAGE

It is time for your Adventure in Faith experience. Are you ready to say “YES” to commitment? Are you ready to say “YES” to living your life beyond limits? Our 2023 adventure in faith theme is – Living From the Overflow…No Limits and your first step in this adventure is to work out what it is you are committed to and then to give yourself fully to that commitment. Once you do this, you will discover the extraordinary power of grace and inspiration, that will allow you to live from the overflow… a life of no limits.

Saying “yes” to commitment inspires collective assistance, the kind of collective assistance that allows us as a community to celebrate 40 years of legacy and beyond. Together we will continue to shape the future of Universal Truth Center through our personal and financial commitment. I am excited to be on this journey with you and open to what God will do through us. I encourage you to use this journey to get very clear on “what is it that you stand for?” What do you give your heart to? What will you stand for in the future?
True commitment takes us far beyond what our individual egos are capable of. In these moments we find ourselves connected to the divine circuits of life and we become part of the universal dance of creation as co-creators with God and all life. Let us lean fully into our commitments and living from the overflow now.

The German philosopher Johann van Goethe famously wrote:

Until one is committed, there is hesitancy,
the chance to draw back.
Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation),
there is one elementary truth,
the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans.
That the moment one definitely commits oneself,
then Providence moves too.
All sorts of things occur to help one
that would never otherwise have occurred.
A whole stream of events issues from the decision,
raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents
and meetings and material assistance,
which no man could have dreamed would have come his way.
Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.
Begin it now.
