Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Memorial Day 2024 is on Monday, May 27th.
June 19th or “Juneteenth” is a very important day in African American history. Juneteenth, or “Freedom Day” is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States.
Labor Day in America, celebrated on the first Monday of September, honors workers' contributions. It started in the late 19th century when labor unions fought for better working conditions and fair wages. Today, it's a day of rest and celebration, with parades, barbecues, and public events, reminding us of the progress made in workers' rights and the need to keep advancing them. Universal Truth Center joins you in celebrating the rich history of this milestone. Enjoy the day!
